What Kind of Man Are You?

What does it mean to stand firm in your faith when life demands courage?

Continuing our Elijah series, Pastor Travis takes us through 1 Kings 18:1–19, examining three men who faced difficult circumstances but responded in very different ways. Ahab was a capable leader who neglected what mattered most. Obadiah was faithful to God but struggled with fear when obedience came at a personal cost. Elijah stood boldly on God's Word, trusting Him regardless of the consequences.

Through their stories, we're challenged to examine our own faith and leadership, especially within our homes and families. True courage isn't the absence of fear. It's choosing to obey God, having difficult conversations, taking responsibility, and standing for what is right even when it's uncomfortable.

This message reminds us that spiritual leadership begins with surrendering to God. When we stand before Him in faith and obedience, He gives us the strength to stand firm in the moments that matter most.
